If you were an Austin Powwow Native Market or Food Court vendor for at least one of the previous two years, and in good standing, we will automatically send you an invitation for this year’s Powwow. Please notify us if your address or email has changed. If you were expecting and invitation and did not receive it by May of this year, please contact us.
New Applicants - Arts & Crafts
We are currently accepting waiting list applications for the Austin Powwow Native Market. The Austin Powwow is one of the largest single day powwows in the country, and vendor spaces are available by invitation only. To become and Arts and Crafts vendor, you must submit a completed Waiting List Application. If you are accepted as a vendor, we will send you a formal invitation when space becomes available. Submitting a Waiting List Application does not guarantee acceptance into the Native Market. Preference is given to Native American original artists and crafts persons.
All Arts and Crafts vendors must comply with The Indian Arts and Crafts Act (the Act) of 1990. This act is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in the marketing of Indian arts and crafts products within the United States. It is illegal to offer of display for sale, or sell any art or craft product in a manner that falsely suggests it is Indian produced, an Indian product, or the product of a particular Indian or Indian tribe or Indian arts and crafts organization, resident within the United States. New Applicants - Food Court
We are currently seeking Native American Food Vendors!
All Food Court vendors must sell at least one authentic Native American food. Preference is given to vendors who offer a wide range of authentic Native foods. Food Court vendors may only sell drinks that are original and hand-made in accordance with our venue agreement. We do not accept applications for vendors who sell only confections and desserts.
